It's that time of year again...Snowsports Week! Not only will five South Lake Tahoe area non-profits benefit from the annual event, but so will skiers and snowboarders with deeply discounted lift tickets for Sierra-at-Tahoe.
The specially priced advanced purchased full-day lift tickets are just $50 and they can only be used between February 13 and February 16. That's $47 off the regularly priced tickets.
Sierra-at-Tahoe donates all ticket sales to be split between Barton Memorial Hospital Foundation, Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation, Lake Tahoe Education Foundation, Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care, and the Sierra-at-Tahoe Education Foundation.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at one of several local locations, or on line at bartonhealth.org/snowsports. These special tickets will not be available for purchase at Sierra-at-Tahoe.
Locations selling Snowsports Week tickets in Meyers include the Tahoe Paradise Chevron, Lira’s Market, and Sunrise Ski Shop. In South Lake Tahoe tickets can be purchased at all Powder House shops, Rainbow Mountain Sports, Rock House Discount Ski & Snowboard, George’s Ski & Snowboard, Grocery Outlet, the Ski Renter, South Tahoe Ski and Board, CVS at the Bijou Center and at the “Y,” the Lake Tahoe Community College Bookstore, Knight’s Inn, and Raley’s at the “Y.” In the Stateline area tickets can be purchased at Sports Ltd. and Raley’s at Crescent V.
Sierra-at-Tahoe is located off Highway 50 in Twin Bridges, and is open 9am to 4pm on the midweek days of Snowsports Week. For more information about Sierra-at-Tahoe, call (530) 659-7453.
