SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Due to road conditions, campus preparations, and possible overnight snowfall, all Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 5, 2026.
This decision is based on the safety of students and staff and ensuring campuses are safe and ready.
This was to be the South Lake Tahoe students’ first day back after the two-week Christmas-New Year’s holiday.
At this time, no other districts have called a “Snow Day” and this story will be updated if any follow LTUSD.
