EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. – The El Dorado Community Foundation is playing “Match Madness” again, where those playing can put a donation behind a list of local nonprofits.
Follow this link to see the nonprofit organizations in the competition for bonus prizes, and increase the chance of your favorite organization winning by donating to them online between March 17 and April 3, 2026.
The nonprofit that brings in the most donations wins a grand prize of $3,000, followed by the runner-up receiving $2,000. The Final Four, or the next four nonprofits in ranking, receive $750 each, and the Elite Eight, or the next eight nonprofits in order, will be entered into a drawing for $250.
Donations must be a minimum of $50 to count towards the Grand Champion prize.
Search for your favorite 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations serving El Dorado County or find them by category. Using this directory, you can learn about their services, how to contact them, and even donate to them through the El Dorado Community Foundation.

To cover staff time, materials, and credit card processing fees for this service, the El Dorado Community Foundation assesses a 7% fee on all donations made through the Nonprofit Directory. However, $.93 of every $1.00 donated goes directly to the nonprofit.
