Your kind contributions have benefited the staff and students in many ways. We are proud to be part of such a caring and compassionate community.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our staff and students.

Sincerely,

When Judge Eddie T. Keller died unexpectedly on May 4, 2024, he left behind volumes of memories and a treasure trove full of family, friends, and colleagues. A legend in legal circles, the former Assistant Presiding Judge Keller served in the courts on both the east and west slopes of El Dorado County and for years in the California Attorney General's Office.

Retired Judge Suzanne Kingsbury said Keller was a man of great integrity and intellect. She said, "He helped improve access to the court system and the delivery of justice."

More controversies are coming out of the May 21 Douglas County School Board and this time one of the issues isn’t what’s happening at the meetings, but rather, what isn’t.

Attendees of the meetings have pointed out that the board’s attorney, Joey Gilbert, spends time on his phone during the school board meetings during which he is paid $325 an hour.

Gilbert is a fan of the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, with hundreds of tweets and re-tweets on his profile each month.

Travis's teammate Patrick Mahomes will not be playing at Lake Tahoe this year due to his being in Paris, but the Kansas City tight end's brother Jason should be an entertaining cohort.

Heirloom tomatoes are varietals that have been grown for at least 50 years without crossbreeding. They are open-pollinated, meaning that they are naturally pollinated by wind, bees, and other factors.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The proposed tax measure on the November ballot in South Lake Tahoe will directly affect people who do not live in the area as it proposes to tax second homeowners up to $6,000 per year if they live in the house less than six months.

The problem for many is the fact that they cannot vote on the vacancy tax that will affect them due to their voter registration being at their main residence.
