Watercolor Demonstration by Lady Jill Mueller

Event Date:
February 11, 2015 - 6:00pm

The Tahoe Art League is pleased to invite the public to observe a demonstration in watercolor techniques by Lady Jill Mueller, to be held as part of its monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 11th, at 6:00 p.m. at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center. This event is free.

Lady Jill’s landscapes of the High Sierra/Great Basin region beautifully depict our mountainous high desert terrain with skill that leads the viewer to the sensation that they are part of the scene, admiring nature.

Lady Jill studied at the Laguna Art School and later with great artists such as David Millard and Ted Gorschner. She has taught numerous workshops in California, including Yosemite National Park, in northern Nevada, and at a castle in Scotland. In addition, she has taught at Western Nevada Community College and Truckee Meadows Community College, and the E.L. Cord Museum School of Art in downtown Reno.

Shown in numerous galleries throughout our region, Lady Jill’s paintings inspire other artists as well as those who simply appreciate fine art and the beauty of the Sierras.

We hope you will join us for this unique opportunity to watch this well-known artist at work.

The Tahoe Art League meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, located at 3050 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, California. The public is invited to attend. For more information visit http://www.talart.org/.
