Pocket day pack, the Tallac Pak, released by South Lake Tahoe company

South Lake Tahoe locals Bryan Burnam and Jacob Hanneman were featured on South Tahoe Now in August, 2014 when their company, Bakpocket Products, released their first product, the Adventure Hammock, on www.kickstarter.com.

The innovative grassroots company supplies a multitude of outdoor products, ranging from hammocks and tote bags to day backpacks. As a follow up to their first product launch, they have released their newest design, The TALLAC PAK. The Tallac Pak is a diverse compressible day backpack perfect for travelers, backpackers and for those who need a solid pack for any adventure or casual occasion.

On April 1 Burnam and Hanneman launched their second kickstarter.com campaign for the Tallac Pak which will run until the end of the month.

They are using Kickstarter to promote their projects and products in an effort to raise much needed funds and allow the versatile day backpack to be recognized around the world. As of April 6 at 6 p.m., the company has raised $3,643 for the Pak so far.

Burnam was born in South Lake Tahoe and attended Meyers Elementary and South Tahoe Middle School and graduated from South Tahoe High and Lake Tahoe Community College. After LTCC, Burnam transfered to Humboldt State University and finished his degree in Wilderness Education and Safety. Hanneman also graduated from Humboldt State with a degree in Wilderness Education and Safety and has now fallen in love with Lake Tahoe and calls it home.
