LuLu Hair Design hosting South Lake Tahoe St. Baldricks

Every year, men, women and children get their heads shaved to raise funds to fight childhood cancer. This year, a new sponsor for the event has come forward, LuLu Hair Design, and there will be a new venue, Harrah's Lake Tahoe.

Dianna Souza, the owner, and her staff at LuLu's wanted to keep this popular fundraiser going, so put together the event quickly and are looking for support, and participants, from the community.

St. Baldrick's will be held on Saturday, April 21 at 6:00 p.m. inside the arcade at Harrah's Lake Tahoe with the staff from Lulu Hair Design, along with a couple of other volunteers doing the shaving.

The minimum to fundraise/donate requirement to get a shave is $50. All card transactions can be done online, or bring cards, cash or checks to the event.

Everyone attending that will not be a "shavee" can donate online before the event or at the event as they will have a place to do so.

Food will be offered at the event by Tacos Por Favor. A portion of their proceeds will go to St. Baldrick's.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
