Storyteller Tom Wade at Dangberg Historic Park

Storyteller Tom Wade presents “Jumping Cows, Snarling Bobcats and Other Farm Adventure Stories” at the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park on Wednesday September 16, at 6:30 pm. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
Tom Wade grew up on a small farm in Michigan as the oldest son in a family of ten children, and honed his storytelling skills at the family dinner table. An energetic teller of mostly-true tales, Wade’s farm and family stories engage and delight people of all ages.
The park’s storytelling events are sponsored by Bently Ranch, SoaringNV, Douglas County, the Record Courier, Carson Valley Inn and the Frances C. and William P. Smallwood Foundation.

Tom Wade is a farmer and homestead dairyman with a passion for cooperating with Nature. He has travelled in some of the wilder parts of Africa and Central America as well as the US. He now makes his home in Nevada County, California with his wife, 3 dogs, 2 donkeys, and a herd of goats
This is a free outdoor event. The park is located at 1450 Hwy 88, ¼ mile north of the Carson Valley Veterinary Hospital. Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or use one of the park’s chairs.
