Thankful: Tahoe Douglas Rotary thanks veterans

The Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club hosted veterans at a special dinner at the Tahoe Beach Club, thanking them for their service from World War II to the War on Terrorism.
Stories were shared of each of the veterans' service in all branches of the military.
The South Lake Tahoe and Stateline area men who were celebrated:
Tony Grasso, Air Force
Randy Butler, Army
Ian Butler, National Guard
Bruce Jorgensen, Army
Bob Felton, Navy
Brian Willians, Marines
Tom Millham, Navy
Leon Malmed, French Air Force, Holocaust survivor
The Master of Ceremonies was Brian Williams, a past president of the club and organizer of the annual Veteran's Day celebrations. He was thanked with a gift of a display case of military challenge coins.
