SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif/ - The Tahoe Art Walk is back in a new way during these physically distancing experiences. A virtual tour has been created instead of the once-a-month in-person event and participants can plan their own tour, shop online, and plan a route with a map once ready to head out as businesses reopen.

March 14, 2020 - 2:00pm Every Second Saturday, Tahoe Art Walk takes place all along Tahoe’s South Shore from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This fun, free, self-guided local art tour returns March 14th to bring you new art and new events. The "Winter Show", opens December 5th and will be up through Feb. 24. Artists will be at the Opening celebration, during the Tahoe Art Walk on Dec.14, to describe their process and take questions. Noah Brown will be doing a print making demonstration, also. We are open Thurs thru Monday, 11 am to 4 pm.

The art league has been a vital part of the Tahoe art scene since its formation in 1964 and has offices and a newly renovated gallery at 3062 Lake Tahoe Blvd. in South Lake Tahoe.

Two day celebration of art, food and wine in South Lake Tahoe

The Beach Retreat and Lodge will be the spot this weekend for the inaugural "Taste of Tahoe." The two-day event, May 20-21, will include an art show, wine tasting and food pairing.
On Friday, May 20, the event is kicked off with the Art Show and Wine Tasting event in the hotel's new conference center and it will wrap up with a Pairings Dinner on Saturday created by their chef, Garrett Florea, and Crystal Basin Winery.
