There is another community opportunity to donate blood, this time at Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District's station at 193 Elks Point Road in Round Hill on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Save time and make an appointment ahead of time.
Blood facts:
While you're reading this, a local area patient needs blood.
Blood is needed every two seconds.
About one in seven people entering a hospital needs blood.
Give Blood, Get a t-shirt in South Lake Tahoe

There will be a South Lake Tahoe community blood drive on Friday, October 16 from 12:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rec Center gym. Walk-ins are welcome.
All participants will receive a free t-shirt.
BloodSource is holding the blood drive to meet the community need for blood and blood products. The blood drive is sponsored by the Barton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
