The Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation will host the Eric Nageotte-Lowe Memorial Fundraiser to celebrate the life of former South Lake Tahoe resident and Heavenly Freestyle Team member, Eric Nageotte-Lowe this Saturday, Jan. 26, from 5pm to 8pm at the Himmel Haus, 2819 Saddle Rd. across from Heavenly Mountain’s California base area.

“While Eric was a great skier,” said his coach Jere Crawford, “he was an even better person.”

The Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation will kick-off the 13th Lake Tahoe Kinder Kup Race Series at Heavenly Mountain Resort beginning Sunday, Jan. 27. A search for missing snowboarder Corey Hoffman ended this morning when the Douglas County Sheriff's Office was contacted by a family member who informed them that Hoffman had phoned his father and advised he had spent the night at Horizon Casino Resort.

Deputies contacted Corey at the Stagecoach Lodge where he had proceeded to, and according to him he was unaware of the search for him. After a lengthy interview with Corey and his brother who had reported him missing, we are unable to determine exactly what transpired.
