Leonard G. Funderburk ~ 1943 - 2023

Leonard G. Funderburk was born in Washington, North Carolina on July 22, 1941. He entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ suddenly on February 24, 2023.
Leonard was a long-time resident of South Lake Tahoe. He graduated from Canoga Park High School in Canoga Park, Calif. He enjoyed sports and coached a women's softball team for A & K Plumbing in the 1970s. He also appreciated vintage cars, especially Corvettes.
Leonard was preceded in death in death by his parents, Woodrow and Fannie Funderburk, and by his wife Laura. He leaves behind a sister Laurie of South Lake Tahoe, sons Lucky of Sparks, Nev., and Levi of Orland, Calif., and also four grandchildren, Isaac, Ivan, Gavin, and Olivia.
Leonard will be interned at Happy Homestead Cemetery. A celebration of life will take place this summer.
