16th annual Artists Studio Tour over two weekends in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Tahoe Art League will highlight 17 artists this year during the 16th annual Artists Studio Tour that spans two weekends this summer, July 28–30, and returning the following weekend, August 4–6.
The Free self-guided tour will include a variety of artistic venues including acrylic, oil, ink, dye on silk, pastel, mixed media and watercolor painting, photography, and copper wall sculpture.
The Studio Tour promotes awareness and appreciation of the arts within the community and gives everyone, locals and visitors alike, a chance to meet the artists and observe them at work.
The much anticipated Passport Program allows visitors to be entered into a drawing for free art donated by participating artists.
“We hope you take full advantage of this wonderful opportunity to take home fabulous local art at a very reasonable price," said organizers. "Twenty percent of every dollar spent goes to support the Tahoe Art League and our many programs which include free monthly art demonstrations, workshops and classes, the operation of our art gallery, exhibits of art throughout town, plein air events, and funding of scholarships for students attending Lake Tahoe Community College and South Lake Tahoe High School.”
