From 12:01 AM Friday December 16, 2011 through Sunday night, December 18th, 2011 officers from the So Lake Tahoe Police Department have arrested 4 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In 2010 5 DUI arrests occurred during the same weekend.

With Christmas two weeks away, one of the best stocking stuffers for local anglers is a California fishing license. If you're planning to fish in the State of California in 2012, you'll need a new license as of Jan. 1.
You can purchase that license and any applicable stamp at a number of local outlets or on the Internet.

These tags will allow the highest bidder to hunt bighorn sheep, deer, elk and pronghorn antelope in California. There are only 13 of these special fund-raising tags reserved for 501(c)(3) nonprofit groups to sell and they’re sure to draw many participants to any fund-raising event.
