Woman critically hurt in South Lake Tahoe crosswalk accident

Lake Tahoe Prosperity Center Names Mone´ Haen as New CEO

The Tahoe Prosperity Center was formed in response to the Lake Tahoe Basin Prosperity Plan developed in 2010 and is the result of an unprecedented coalition of government, private, and philanthropic stakeholders in the Tahoe Basin. The naming of a CEO is a major step in the TPC's mission to promote regional sustainability through economic vitality, environmental stewardship and healthy communities in and around the Lake Tahoe Basin.
South Lake Tahoe appoints Nancy Kerry as permanent City Manager

Settlement reached in Tahoe pier dispute

Tamara Fritz and the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency agreed to terms this week resolving violations between April 2008 and March 2011. Go here for more.

The Department of Fish and Game (DFG) invites nonprofit organizations to help wildlife by auctioning big game hunting license tags for the 2012-13 season. These tags will allow the highest bidder to hunt bighorn sheep, deer, elk and pronghorn antelope in California. There are only 13 of these special fund-raising tags reserved for 501(c)(3) nonprofit groups to sell and they’re sure to draw many participants to any fund-raising event.
