Local mystery writers Robert Max, Gary Thomas Edwards, and Lisa Michelle will read passages from their books and share their journey to becoming an author. Attendees will have a chance to ask questions, and purchase books for your
mystery-loving friends and family.

Bryan Adams heading to Tahoe Blue Events Center

LAKE TAHOE, Nev. - Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams is bringing his 2024 tour to the Tahoe Blue Event Center at Stateline on January 24. Tickets go on sale November 17 at 10 a.m. Adams' tour stop at Lake Tahoe also includes Dave Stewart’s Eurythmics songbook. Stewart, who shared the stage with Annie Lennox as one of the Eurythmics, has been on tour with the group's biggest hits.

Beloved Valhalla Renaissance Faire returns to South Lake Tahoe for an encore in 2024

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The once annual Renaissance Faire has been missing from the South Lake Tahoe landscape for a few years due to construction at its old home of the Camp Richardson campgrounds, COVID, and then epic snow in 2023.

The Enchantment of Valhalla Renaissance is set to make a triumphant return for the 2024 season. Step back in time and immerse yourself in a world of chivalry, enchantment, and merriment over the weekend of August 24-25, 2024, at the Tahoe Valley Campground.

The popular jousting event is also returning with the faire.

85th annual Nevada Day Parade and celebration on Saturday

The Day of Days, the largest celebration of Nevada within the Silver State, returns for its 85th consecutive year on October 28, 2023, in Carson City.

This year, the theme is “Home Means Nevada,” courtesy of the beloved state song.

Honda is in the middle of a complete relaunch, with nearly every single mainstream model being refreshed in the past two years now. Building on Legacy: The Sierra State Parks Foundation seeks a new Executive Director

TAHOE CITY, Calif. – Rounding out its 49th year, the Sierra State Parks Foundation looks back fondly on almost five decades of philanthropy and community building. It began when a scrappy, local grassroots group of women resolved to save the impending demolition of the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion at Sugar Pine Point State Park; the group would later become an incorporated Cooperating Association supporting California State Parks in 1974, adopting other local state parks in the Tahoe Truckee region to preserve and protect.

Two deaf mountaineers are heading to Lake Tahoe to share the story of their successful summiting of Mount Everest. Tahoe Family Hearing Clinic is bringing the pair, Scott Lehmann and Shayna Unger to Outdoor Gear Lab on Friday, October 6 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Scott and Shayna became the third and fourth deaf people to reach the summit of Mount Everest, with Shayna being the first deaf female!
