South Tahoe High Vikings get fourth straight win against Fernley

South Tahoe High's varsity boys basketball team has been racking up the wins over the last eight days, coming away with victories in the last four games.
Coach Joby Cefaul's Vikings beat Fernley on Saturday, January 10 by a score of 80-68. They started their winning streak on Saturday, January 3 when they beat Spring Creek 65-38, followed by Tuesday's win over Dayton (63-48) and Thursday's 68-58 win over Union Mine of Placerville.
Senior Tyler Hogbin is third in league for rebounds per game with 6.7. He is also on the League Leaders board for blocks per game where he is second with .9. Teammates Kirby David is fifth in the league for steals with 1.9 and Stone Merkley's 2.1 assists per game is also fifth in the league.

Next game for the STHS boys will be on the road when they play Sparks on January 13. Their next home game will be January 23 when they host Lowry.
