Emerald Bay Physical Therapy changes hands

Emerald Bay Physical Therapy started off 2021 by changing ownership. Jessica Jones purchased the comprehensive center for orthopedic and manual physical therapy from Christina Frohlich on January 1.

Jessica has been a Physical Therapist at Emerald Bay Physical Therapy since 2013.

“I purchased the business to further deepen my roots in Tahoe and provide the community with expert care in a private setting,” said Jessica. "I believe the key factors that lead to successful physical therapy are quality time, active listening, and hands-on treatments. Every treatment plan's foundational components are listening to each patient's complaints and goals, using critical thinking to find the causes, and utilizing manual techniques. Using these fundamental building blocks ensures progress with every patient."

Moving forward at Emerald Bay Physical Therapy, patients will find consistency in their scheduling and their practitioners. Jessica and Kiley Lathrop, PT Aide, have been working together for five years and are both committed to the future vision of Emerald Bay Physical Therapy. The business will be offering more appointment availability for safe, one-on-one treatment. Also, it will continue to provide affordable rates for aquatic exercise in its in-house, heated therapy pool.

Emerald Bay Physical Therapy will remain at its present location, 812 Emerald Bay Road in South Lake Tahoe.

With their eyes on the future, Jessica and her team promise to provide South Lake Tahoe with reliable, accessible, and specialized care.
