Tahoe Women’s Community Fund to distribute $100,000 - grant requests now being accepted

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Tahoe Women’s Community Fund Cabinet has announced they have opened its 2024 grant cycle. This year, because of its 238 members and 11 super sponsors, they have $100,000 to donate back to the South Shore Lake Tahoe community.

As always, the focus and impact grants are set for specific areas of need as voted on by their membership.

The Areas of Need for the Focus and Impact Grants must be the "focus"

of the projects in the applications received, and nonprofits must self-select the area of need they apply under. The $100,000 available is split between the following areas:

Focus Grant #1 - Poverty/Housing Basic Needs (giving out $40,000 total)
Focus Grant #2 - Youth/Education (giving out $30,000 total)
Impact Area Grant #1 - Wellbeing: Physical & Mental (giving out $10,000 total)
Impact Area Grant #2 - Community/Arts/Culture (giving out $10,000 total)
Impact Area Grant #3 - Environment/Animals

All applicants may apply for up to $10,000.
