Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high today of 42 and a low tonight of 25. Today: A slight chance of snow before 10am, then a chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Breezy, with a southwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Tonight: A chance of rain and snow before 10pm, then a slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Heavenly - Powder. 6" New Snow in last 24 hours. Some wind holds but they plan on having 100% of their terrain open - 4800 acres, 27 lifts and 97 runs are open. Base depth is 85". Lift status. Snow, mainly before 10am. High near 32. Very windy, with a southwest wind around 50 mph, with gusts as high as 80 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. Message from Heavenly- Sky and Tamarack Express will be starting on Wind Hold due to 50+mph winds. Winds are likely to further delay/hold lift operations today, please stay tuned for updates. Please note that there is no ski/ride between CA/NV while Sky Express is on wind hold. NWS Forecast - 20% chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36°. Very windy, with a SW wind 35-45 mph increasing to 45-55 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 80 mph. Temperatures are ranging 20°-31° around the mountain. Weather permitting; 25 lifts will start spinning at 8:30am, giving access to 97 trails. Weather permitting; Mountain Access - The CA Main Lodge, The Heavenly Village Gondola, Boulder Lodge, and Stagecoach Lodge. Free shuttles are running between bases every 15-30 minutes.

Sierra-at-Tahoe - Powder. 6" new snow in last 24 hours. They plan to open at 9:00 a.m. with 12 lifts open with groomed conditions on 32 of their open 45 runs. There is a wind hold currently on two lifts. Six snow parks are open. Base depth is 60" to 119". Lift status. A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 21 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
