Erica Mirich hired by League to Save Lake Tahoe as Director of Development

Erica Mirich has been hired by the League to Save Lake Tahoe to be their new Director of Development.

A competitive national search brought Mirich back to Lake Tahoe previously served as director of development for the Lake Tahoe School in Incline Village. Most recently she served as senior director of annual giving for the Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, Calif.

Mirich holds a master’s degree in science education from Harvard and brings classroom experience as a science educator.

Her passion for the lake and unique experience with both environmental education as well as relationship building will be an asset to not only the League but to Tahoe.” said Darcie Goodman Collins, Ph.D., the League’s executive director.

“It would be hard to find a better fit for a development director who could arrive so ready to advance our science-based advocacy and education efforts than Erica Mirich,” said Robert Damaschino, a member of the League’s board and chair of the board’s development committee. “I’m confident that Erica’s combination of development experience, her first-hand familiarity with Lake Tahoe, and her strong science background will enable her to hit the ground running and help us continue to grow the League’s programs to protect Lake Tahoe for years to come.”

Mirich’s first day with the League will be March 28. She will be joining the League’s leadership team of directors, which includes Goodman Collins, Deputy Director Jesse Patterson and Finance Director Karen Hodges.
