DCSO seeks public's help in identifying suspect in laundromat burglary

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. – The Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the alleged suspect(s) in a commercial burglary iin Minden on March 6.

At 2:22 a.m., a person, or persons, entered the 24-hour Village Laundrette located at 1516 US 395. DCSO says the suspect shown in the photo above allegedly used a variety of tools to pry open, or attempt to pry open, various vending machines in the launderette. The suspect was in the laundry facility for about 10 minutes before leaving in a late model, light-colored VW Bug with a sunroof (similar to the one in the photo above).

DCSO says an unidentified “lookout” was waiting in the car.

The unknown suspect who entered the laundry is described as a white male in his 20’s and appears to have a birthmark or small dark tattoo near his right eye. The suspect was wearing a “Sinister” brand dark jacket with grey hood and multiple unique embroidery patterns.

A reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect. Your identity is not needed and you will remain anonymous.
