West slope pair arrested; drugs found, stolen property recovered

At least $50,000 worth of stolen property was recovered, drugs were seized and two people were arrested on the West Slope of El Dorado County.
Detectives and the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail served search warrants, including a storage container, at two different locations in Pollock Pines on March 21, said Lt. Tim Becker in a news release.
Through several months of investigation, Detectives were able to link the storage container to the occupants of the residence, Teresa Lee, 42 and Seth Fuentes, 39. Both were arrested and face several charges including possession of stolen property, Becker said.

While searching the storage container, detectives found stolen property belonging to four different victims of burglaries in the Placerville, Pollock Pines and Pleasant Valley. Detectives also found around 5 pounds of dried and prepared marijuana as well as other items that are commonly used in methamphetamine production, Becker said.
Lee faces charges of being in possession of stolen property, possession of more than 28.5 grams of marijuana and the manufacturing of controlled substances. Fuentes is on parole and faces charges of possession of instruments used to inject or smoke controlled substances, Becker said.
The recovered stolen property consisted of Thomas Kincade paintings, numerous generators, power tools, an off-road dune buggy, antiques, and collectibles. Numerous items have yet to be claimed. The estimated value of the recovered property is more than $50,000, Becker said.
Detectives will hold a public viewing in the near future for property crime victims, to view the recovered items.
