As the ski season winds down, this will be the last week for South Tahoe Now's daily report.

The following is the ski, snowboard and weather report for Wednesday, April 6, 2016 for South Lake Tahoe, brought to you by Lake Tahoe SkiBum.

Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high today of 66 and a low tonight of

34. Today: Sunny, with a high near 59. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 34. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

Heavenly - Groomed. No new snow in last 24 hours. Groomer's Picks: Ridge Bowl in CA | Big Dipper in NV Tubing hill is closed. Base depth is 88". They plan to have 96% of the mountain open with 18 lifts and 90 runs open. Lift statusSunny, with a high near 52. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Sierra-at-Tahoe - Groomed. No new snow in last 24 hours. They plan to open 7 lifts open with groomed conditions on 32 of their open 44 runs. Five snow park are open. Base depth is 52" to 122". Lift status. Sunny, with a high near 64. East northeast wind 5 to 8 mph. www.sierraattahoe.com.

Kirkwood - Groomed. No new snow in last 24 hours. They plan to have 54% of the mountain terrain open with 1250 acres, 8 lifts and 56 runs. 92" base. Lift status. Sunny, with a high near 52.
