Here is the official release:

Local singer and songwriter Jesse Kalin has just released a new single. Yet another great original song, it’s called, Lonesome Highway.

“The song was written in Switzerland the spring of 2011. Initially, the song was written about life’s struggles without anyone particular in mind. But in reality, it wound up being about one of my best friends, who has never seemed to get it together after all these years. Once I returned back to the states, I worked on the song and decided it would make a great music video. Filmed and co-produced with my friend, Jackie Dauzat, the song came alive and I’m excited to share it with everyone.” says Kalin.

Filmed on location in Lake Tahoe, the music video will be released today on Jesse’s website, www.jessekalin.com.

Jesse Kalin has been pursuing and perfecting his first love: music. Jesse's original band, Moon Dogs, traveled extensively across the United States in the early 90's opening for such artists as Peter Frampton, Chicago, REO Speedwagon, Starship, Orleans, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band and a host of others. His band Cool Black Kettle, which he formed in the late 90's released 'Move On' in 2002, and is still being played on national and international radio stations. Currently, Jesse is excited about focusing his creative talents on his solo career and is writing and recording in his hometown of South Lake Tahoe, California. He will be traveling to Switzerland and Italy June 2012 for several shows. He will also take some time for creative songwriting and then plans to release a solo full length CD in the fall of 2012.
