Kudos: Bread & Broth thanks Heavenly Mountain Resort

“We love every time we get to come to a Bread & Broth Monday Meal,” commented Zack Koneffko, one of Heavenly Mountain Resort’s Adopt A Day of Nourishment volunteer crew members. “It’s such a great part of our community and we feel honored that we are able to take part in it.” Thanks to Vail’s EpicPromise Grant, Heavenly Mountain Resort and Kirkwood Mountain Resort alternate hosting a Monday Meal every month. Once the AAD schedule has been set up, team members from each of the Vail resorts, start signing up and looking forward to volunteering their time serving those in need in our community

Helping to host at B&B’s Monday Meal dinner on April 8th, Zack and his fellow Heavenly crew members Julian Arp-Sandel, Annalisa Babich, and Gregory Kiskinen, spent three hours volunteering alongside B&B volunteers to provide a hot and tasty meal to the evening’s dinner guests. A great deal of preparation goes into every Monday Meal and the help provided by the Heavenly Adopt A Day sponsor crew volunteers is very much appreciated.

The Adopt A Day of Nourishment program was established to provide the financial support to help cover most of the costs associated with the Monday Meal. Additionally, the program enables our AAD sponsors to participate in the dinner service and experience the impact their donation of money and time donation have on those in need.

B&B couldn’t be happier with our AAD partnership with the local Vail Resorts and we celebrate their commitment to our community.
