City of South Lake Tahoe seeks public input on programming for new recreation and swim center

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The City’s Park and Recreation Department is seeking the public's input on future programs at the new recreation and swim complex. They are very excited about this new state-of-the-art center, which is scheduled to open its doors in 2026, and the possibilities the new programming will bring.

By taking this short survey, you can help shape the future of recreation for the City of South Lake Tahoe by sharing what recreational activities matter most to you.

The survey highlights how the indoor event space will be utilized, a wide range of activities to be held in the pool, gym, dance room, and activity room, adults/youth sports leagues, and accessible/inclusive features. The results from survey respondents will be used to design the programming for the Multigenerational Recreation and Swim Complex based on the communities’ diverse needs and desires.

The survey only takes a few minutes to complete, and your input is invaluable to us as we strive to create a facility that caters to the interests of our community members.

The program survey is open now through Monday, May 13, and is available in English and Spanish.
