Paige, the former owner of Tahoe Best Friends, splits her time between South Lake Tahoe and Kenya. She is fundraising to help feed the 417 elementary school children at Subuiga Primary School, Meru County, Kenya.

Many children walk for miles on empty stomachs. Paige's goal is to provide them each with one nutritional meal a day at lunch to increase their energy and amplify their spirits. She delivers kilos of maize, rice, beans, firewood, and cooking oils to serve to the children.

Results are already realized in only the first month of this program. Paige said new children are enrolling in classes, absenteeism is at an all-time low, grades have risen, and the kindergarten class has increased by 10 percent. Amazing results.

In the program's first 2.5 months, Paige and friends have served over 25,000 meals. They can feed each child for only $.14 a day.

Children who are helped extend their thanks to donors with handwritten letters, personal videos, and by holding signs with your name.
