Groundbreaking Ceremony for Harrison Avenue Project

The Harrison Avenue project has just started in South Lake Tahoe. In order to officially honor the streetscape improvements being done the City will be holding a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, May 6 at 3 p.m. at the boat trailer parking lot on Merced Avenue. The public is invited.
WHAT: Groundbreaking Ceremony for Harrison Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project
WHO: All community members are invited
WHEN: Tuesday, May 6th @ 3:00 pm
WHERE: Meet at boat trailer parking lot at the corner of Harrison Ave. and Merced Ave.
WHY: Join us for Groundbreaking Ceremony for Harrison Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project. Nearly twenty years after the project was identified in the Bijou/Al Tahoe Community Plan (1995), the Harrison Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project begins this May and has a projected completion date of the end of this November.
The Harrison Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project addresses several City-wide strategic infrastructure replacement and environmental compliance objectives.
