2018 Great Prairie Youth Triathlon for ages 7-15 on the South Shore

This event has been cancelled.

Great Prairie™ Sports has announced the inaugural Great Prairie™ Youth Triathlon presented by Hydron Module Geothermal Systems on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Tahoe Paradise Park in Meyers will be the base for the event, which is for boys and girls ages 7-15.

For youth competing in their first Triathlon or for those progressing their development, organizers say Tahoe Paradise Park truly is a remarkable venue for the following reasons:

1. Swim – Lake Baron provides a very good introduction to Open Water Swimming with its shallow depth while its smaller size minimizes waves and provides warmer temperatures.

2. Bike – Instead of cycling on busy highways, we will utilize the neighborhood roads adjacent to Tahoe Paradise Park. This route provides a much safer experience for young athletes.

3. Run – Surrounded with mountain views, towering pine trees and exceptional footing, Tahoe Paradise Park provides one of the best running venues anyone could ever experience with a picturesque lakeside finish.

Besides Title Sponsor Hydron Module Geothermal Systems, other sponsors include Hydron Module, Sierra Eco Systems, Blue Sky Electrical Solutions, Smart & Final, Les Schwab Tires, Great Prairie Foods, Great Prairie Gear and Investment Property Services.
