A Community invited to celebrate 50 years of California State Parks Foundation

TAHOMA, Calif. – For the past five decades, the Sierra State Parks Foundation has demonstrated unwavering commitment by partnering with California State Parks to address critical needs and projects through private philanthropy, volunteerism, and strong partnerships. This ongoing collaboration ensures that the local California Lake Tahoe – Donner Lake parks continue to benefit the community and visitors not only today but also for generations to come.

To commemorate this remarkable milestone, the community is invited to its Golden Anniversary Celebration at the picturesque Hellman-Ehrman Estate, Sugar Pine Point State Park on Wednesday, June 26. The event begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to wear a touch of gold to their attire.
