South Tahoe High School, TADA present Annual Pops Concerts

Tahoe Arts and Design Academy at South Tahoe High will present its annual Pops Concerts on Monday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 5, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the TADA Theatre located at South Tahoe High School. Tickets are $5 each. Refreshments will be available.

Under the direction of Instrumental Music Director, Casson Scowcroft, the orchestra, band and jazz band will perform Monday, June 3rd featuring “Music through the Ages.” Wednesday, June 5 will feature the STHS Chorus, Advanced Chorus and Glee Club under the direction of Vocal Music Director Bob Grant, presenting a spectacular vocal performance “It Ain’t Easy Being Green.”

The Pops Concerts are always tremendous fun, as the performers, and directors, tend to break form and have fun at these very popular end of year performances. This is great entertainment for the whole family!

All proceeds will benefit STHS/TADA opportunities beyond traditional curricular offerings, including guest conductors, special events, commissioning musical pieces, etc.
