Lake Tahoe area roadwork schedule June 12- June 18

Long term projects:

June 12-17 - State Route 89 (Placer County) from Mankato Place to Cathedral Drive: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various locations around the clock from 10 p.m. Sunday until 10 a.m. Friday for roadway excavation, drainage work and curb and gutter construction.

June 13-17 - State Route 89 (El Dorado County) from Cascade Road to Cascade Creek: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various locations from 2 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday and 2 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday for shoulder work and permanent erosion control.

June 12-17 - State Route 89 (El Dorado County) in South Lake Tahoe from 10th Street to 13th Street: Northbound and southbound motorists can expect the #2 lane and shoulder closed around the clock from 9 p.m. Sunday until 7 a.m. Friday for curb, gutter and sidewalk work.

June 13-17 - State Route 28 (Placer County) from the junction with State Route 267 to Chipmunk Street: Motorists can expect the #1 lane closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon Friday for utility work. Motorists can expect one-way traffic control from Beach Avenue to Deer Street from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Friday for utility work. Motorists also can expect the eastbound and westbound shoulders to be closed from Fox Street to Beaver Street from 7 a .m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon Friday for utility work.

Short Term Projects:

U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Truckee Drive to River Drive: Eastbound motorists can expect lane closures around the clock from 9 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Friday for gas line utility work. Eastbound motorists also can expect the #2 lane closed from Trout Creek to Tulare Avenue from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and westbound motorists can expect the #2 lane closed from 9 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday and from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday.

U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Bedford Avenue to Canal Street in Placerville: Westbound motorists can expect the #2 lane closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday and 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday for highway construction.

State Route 28 (Placer County) from Agate Road to Anderson Road in Tahoe Vista: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday for utility work.

State Route 49 (El Dorado County) from Koki Lane to Pleasant Valley Road West: Motorists can expect long-term one-way traffic controls around the clock for emergency utility work to fix a broken sewer line.

State Route 49 (El Dorado County) at Coloma Street in Placerville: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday for curb, gutter and sidewalk work.

State Route 89 (Placer County) from Cherry Street to Trout Street in Homewood: Southbound motorists and bicyclists can expect the right shoulder closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday for bridge work on the multi-use path extension.

State Route 193 (El Dorado County) at Rock Creek Road: Motorists can expect long-term signalized one-way traffic control for emergency repair work, which is scheduled to be completed by July.

State Route 267 (Placer County) from Northstar Drive to the junction with State Route 28 in Kings Beach: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic controls at various locations from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday for tree work.
