Court date set for man facing charges in fatal Lake Tahoe crash

STATELINE, Nevada - The 40-year-old man who was arrested Thursday after a deadly crash near Round Hill, Nevada will see his first day in court on Tuesday.

Jerrad Dominguez, whose driver's license says he is from Gold River, Calif., was driving a Ford F-150 when he crossed the double line into the path of a westbound Chevrolet Silverado driven by a Carson City man on his way to work in South Lake Tahoe.

The impact of the collision caused the rear bed portion of the Chevrolet pickup to become separated from the front cab portion and the utility trailer it was towing became disconnected from the pickup.

Hugo Parra-Solis, 37, succumbed to injuries he sustained in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Dominquez's court date is at 1:00 p.m. in Tahoe Township Court.

He is being held on $10,000 bail and facing numerous charges:

DUI: Drugs causing substantial bodily harm
Two counts of paraphernalia
Open container
Reckless driving causing substantial bodily harm
Driving left of the center line.
Under the influence of a controlled substance
Driving while under the influence of a controlled substance
Driving with license suspended or revoked for driving under the influence
