South Lake Tahoe to see a drop in temperature to start off the week - First day of summer Wednesday

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - If you were looking for a summery start to the week, you'll have to go somewhere beside Lake Tahoe. A cold front will bring gusty winds and a temperature drop - something local residents have seen perhaps too much of over the last seven months.

At least no snow is in the forecast, but there will be sub-freezing temperatures before summer officially starts on Wednesday. By midweek onward more typical late-day winds return along with a rebound to milder temperatures.

Dry and sunny forecast, and it looks like the "warm" part will come at the end of the week.
