NDOT continues SR28 project, pauses the Mt. Rose Highway work

LAKE TAHOE, Nev. - The Nevada Department of Transporation (NDOT) continues its work on SR28 in Incline Village. They will not be working on the SR431 (Mt. Rose Highway) project over the next few weeks. Commercial vehicle restrictions are lifted now through July 9.

Multiple Work Zones on SR 28
- ITS conduit and concrete work (installation of curb, gutter, and ADA-compliant sidewalk) along SR 28 in Incline Village continues. ITS work will conclude by the end of the month, and concrete crews will continue working their way east. No street closures are expected at this time. Traffic control remains single lane closure through the work zone with flagger control.

- Country Club Dr. will be closed at SR 28 on the lake side of the intersection starting Sunday, June 25 at 8 p.m. through Monday, June 26.

- Neighboring work zones from IVGID near Marlette Creek, Caltrans in Tahoe City and utility company permit work along the highway may also impact travelers' commute times.
