Luke Bryan keeps Lake Tahoe audience on their feet

From before the very first note, country superstar Luke Bryan had the large crowd at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena on their feet Wednesday night, and they never sat down.

Bryan stopped by the South Shore as part of his "What Makes You Country Tour" July 25 on the outdoor stage at Harveys. The personable and talented entertainer engaged the audience throughout the show, highlighting birthdays and getting them to sing along.

He sang "Strip it Down," joking with the audience that it was the status of his gambling at the casinos, down, down, down.

Wednesday was the first time for Bryan to perform in Lake Tahoe, though it wasn't the first visit. He was in town for a bachelor party that involved a lot of partying, and snow. "It snowed like 48" that weekend," he said.

Bryan took the audience from hit to hit, keeping everyone from the youngest fan to the oldest entertained.

My two favorites?

His newest single, "Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset" and "Most People Are Good."

As soon as his Lake Tahoe was over he and the band headed to Paso Robles for the Mid-State Fair and will be at Dodger Stadium Saturday.

The 42-year-old married singer and father of two will once again be a judge on the singing competition show, American Idol.
