National Night Out celebrated in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - National Night Out is celebrated throughout the country on the first Tuesday in August each year, and that includes South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County which will have their own event.

The community is invited to the TJ Maxx parking lot on Tuesday, August 1 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Members from area law enforcement agencies will be there with booths, information, games, activities, patrol & enforcement vehicles, and much more.

National Night Out is a national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships in a casual atmosphere that enforces a true sense of community.

TJ Maxx is located at 2015 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
