Search continues for missing 16-year-old Truckee teen

Multiple agencies and volunteers continue to search for 16-year-old Kiely Rodni, the Truckee teen who was last seen near the Prosser Family Campground at a party early Saturday, August 6, 2022.
The Placer County Sheriff's Office considers her disappearance an abduction case. A $50,000 reward is being offered by the Rodni family. Also, a website, www.findkiely.com has been established by family and friends to aid in the search.
A press conference was held on Tuesday afternoon, getting the public up to speed on the extent of the search. Law enforcement said numerous tips have been received and they continue to go through those in order to firm up timelines and locations.
"No information is too small," said the Nevada County Sheriff's Office during the press conference.
The Placer County Sheriff’s Office has set up a tip line at 530-581-6320, Option 7.
"Somebody knows something," said the Placer County Sheriff's representative, especially those who were at the party. "Please contact us through our tip line."
Air operations crew were being flown over the Interstate 80 corridor between Donner Summit and the Nevada state line and will continue searching around the Prosser Lake area, according to the sheriff's office.
Kiely, a recent high school graduate, was at a farewell party on Friday night with a group of what witnesses say was 200-250 juveniles and young adults. She was last seen at the party on August 6, 2022, at approximately 12:30 a.m. Kiely’s vehicle is also missing from the party — a silver 2013 Honda CRV with California license plate: “8YUR127”. Kiely’s phone has been out of service since the party.
Her friends said she was planning on camping overnight at Prosser.
Kiely is a Caucasian female, 5’7”, 115 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing green Dickies pants, a black tank top, and numerous piercings and jewelry, including a nose ring, and "17" tattooed on above her ribs.
