Kudos: Bread & Broth thanks Liberty Utilities for 2nd Adopt-A-Day

Following their Adopt-A-Day (AAD) of Nourishment sponsorship on August 26, Liberty Utilities sent another great crew on September 2 to assist the Bread & Broth volunteers with another AAD dinner. Just as they provide incredible service to their customers, the Liberty Utilities AAD sponsor crew members, Jennifer Guenther, James Martin, Kate Marrone, Chad Sousa and Kelsey Zieba, also provided the same spirit of service in helping others at their sponsorship dinner.

Hosting a Bread & Broth AAD of Nourishment is a great way to raise awareness of the needs of others and be a part of making a positive impact on those who are struggling economically and socially. The weekly Monday Meals, financed and supported by the AAD program, make a difference in many community member’s lives by providing hot nutritious meals and a safe, warm and social environment that asserts the dignity of those attending the meal at St. Theresa Grace Hall.

Taking a break during the dinner service, Jennifer Guenther, Sr. Manager Energy Efficiency and Customer Solutions, took a moment to share her thoughts about the evening’s dining experience. “Thank you for giving us the opportunity to spend Labor Day serving our community. The herbed chicken was delicious and the smiles were infectious!”

Thanks to the generosity of Liberty Utilities and their team members, B&B was able to provide a tasty dinner that did make everyone attending enjoy their meal and the kindness of others. Kudos to Liberty Utilities for their commitment to the community.
