Drive-thru and walk-in flu vaccine clinics at Stateline

Douglas County Community Health and Quad County Public Health are both holding flu vaccination clinics at Kahle Community Center on Wednesday, October 4.
Even though they are Nevada agencies, they will be accepting South Lake Tahoe residents as well as Nevada residents.
High-dose vaccines are available for those 65 and older in limited quantities at both events. If you do not have insurance, you will not be turned away.
First is Douglas County Community Health's drive-thru clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring all insurance cards. They bill Nevada Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance. $20 fee if underinsured or no insurance. Douglas County Community Health (775) 782-9038.
Then, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Quad County Public Health will be giving flu vaccinations inside the recreation center. They will be carrying the higher dose vaccine for those 65 and older. Bring Insurance cards. Uninsured and underinsured will be $20. Carson City Health & Human Services (775) 887-2190.
