Threats at El Dorado County high school being investigated

10/16/17 11:20PM - The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office (EDSO) has identified the person who sent the threatening Instagram post. The individual is a resident of Texas and was contacted by local law enforcement in that state. The individual, identified as nineteen year old Justin Boaz of Tyler, Texas, admitted to making the post because he was “bored”.

Based on this information, EDSO believes there is no further danger regarding this threat. No criminal charges will be filed in this case due to Justin’s location and the fact he lacked the present ability to follow through on his threats.
