South Shore Lake Tahoe casinos report 5 percent increase in September

South Shore Lake Tahoe casinos saw a five percent increase in September gaming numbers, the Nevada Gaming Control Board reports Thursday.
Casinos took in a gaming "win" of $18,011,866 in September, compared to $17,252,560 over September, 2011.
North Lake Tahoe casinos saw a 6.82 pecent increase over September 2011 figures taking in $2,755,365.

Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $892,748,756 for the month of September 2012. This amounts to a 3.33 percent increase compared to September 2011, when licensees reported a gaming win of $863,971,309. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012), gaming win has increased 5.63 percent.
