Viking Corner: This Week at South Tahoe High

Stress levels were high this week for students at South Tahoe High School. Seniors finish college applications due at the end of the month and sports head off to regional championships.

Seniors
College applications have been an ongoing battle for the seniors this year. Counselors have been working with each student to make sure they are on track. Deadlines are coming up and here’s what a few seniors have to say about it:

“It has been very difficult balancing schoolwork and college applications,” said Tyler Pevenage. “Not to mention also having volleyball. But time management skills will benefit me for the rest of my life.”

“With playing tennis and hockey, it has been a struggle to get my college applications done,” Quinn Proctor explained. “I know it’s going to help me later though.”

Logan Chapman stated it simply: “College applications are scary.”
