One hospitalized in Highway 50 accident near the Cave Rock tunnels

A Carson CIty woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a vehicle accident Thursday morning near the Cave Rock tunnel.
The accident was reported at 7:32 a.m. The preliminary crash investigation details indicate that a silver Subaru was traveling westbound on US 50 driven by Patricia Schille, 48, of Carson City, reports Trooper Daniel Lopez.
The Subaru crossed over the centerline line striking a maroon truck driven by Richard Kline, 58, of South Lake Tahoe. Schille was taken by ground transport to the Barton Tahoe Hospital for non life threatening injuries. The US 50 eastbound lane was closed temporarily while the accident was investigated, said Lopez.
