Sunny, with a high near 28. Windy, with a northeast wind 20 to 25 mph increasing to 30 to 35 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

Message from Heavenly: With all the recent snow, Heavenly has now opened Galaxy chair in NV and Pinnacle run in CA. This means our mountain is now about 98% open and we have just under 5000 acres of some of the best terrain in the world available for the public. The forecast for today is calling for a cold and windy day, with strong NE gusts that will likely impact some lift operations. Weather permitting, we will have 27 lifts spinning from 8:30am-4:00pm giving access to over 90 runs. Our groomers suggest Ridge Run in CA, and Orion in NV as their trail picks of the day and I recommend checking these runs out asap! With the cold temps and strong winds today, don't forget to wear you facemask, goggles, and lots of layers in order to stay comfortable, and protect yourself from the elements.
