Mild week ahead in South Lake Tahoe, no precipitation in forecast

It could be awhile before South Lake Tahoe has any precipitation as an upper level ridge is in place and will provide an extended period of dry conditions with above normal temperatures for much of the upcoming week and possibly into mid-February. The blocking high pressure is building off the the West Coast according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The only weather event in the near future are the breezy conditions that can be expected Tuesday as a dry front passes by the region.

Records could be equaled or fall on Monday and Tuesday.
