SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Couples wanting to take the big leap can do so on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2020, when Sierra-at-Tahoe hosts the first-ever Great Sierra Elopement.
On this special day, 14 couples will have the opportunity to say, “I Do,” at 8,852’ atop of 360 Smokehouse BBQ (conditions permitting), featuring panoramic views of Lake Tahoe, Pyramid Peak, Huckleberry Canyon + the Lovers Leap area. Sierra’s own, in-house officiants will be directing the nuptials, while also providing each couple with a photo to commemorate the moment as well as a complimentary beverage before taking their first lap as a wedded pair.
“Currently, Sierra is only able to offer full-service weddings during the summer months,” states Marketing and Sales Director, Katie Hunter. “But there has been a large demand for winter options. This fun and unique day gives couples the opportunity to seal the deal atop our snowy wonderland, for an unbeatable experience.”
Those looking to finalize their nuptials can take advantage of Sierra’s only winter wedding offering for just $100/couple. A valid marriage license + ability to make a deposit are necessary, as well as a valid lift ticket or season pass.
