Submitted by paula on Wed, 02/05/2014 - 9:30pm
Barton’s Health’s Outpatient Laboratory Services on South Avenue is moving to 1067 Fourth Street. Formerly the Tahoe Women’s Care building, this new spot will create an inviting, improved experience for our community and their laboratory needs.
The move will take a day or two, starting on February 20. Laboratory draws will be available for the public at the following two locations during the move: Barton Memorial Hospital (2170 South Avenue in South Lake Tahoe) and at Stateline Medical Center (155 Highway 50 in Stateline, Nevada).
In the spring, the Laboratory’s former location will become Barton’s new Urology program, the first service of its kind on the South Shore.
The Barton Health Laboratory performs a variety of testing in the areas of hematology, blood bank, chemistry, microbiology and coagulation. There are three locations for blood draws. Barton Laboratory also participates in the BWell program, offering affordable lab testing for adults in our community. Find out more and schedule a wellness lab draw online – www.bartonhealth.org/bwell or call (530) 543-5615. Doctor referrals are required for all wellness labs and screenings.
